Unit 7 - The Industry

'Working 9 - 5'. In this unit, you will individually research but collaboratively produce THREE short educational / instructional videos for young people interested in entering the creative media sector. Your first two videos will explain and demonstrate concepts of media ownership, structure of ownership and legal and ethical considerations based on actual case studies. Your third video will be a 'how to get in the industry' giving practical advice on finding, applying for, interviewing for and getting a job. The video will be based on your own showreel as example of how to present yourself to a potential employer in the creative media sector.
